Recycling Prom Dresses and Formal Wear Helps High School Kids Attend Their Proms

Spring is here, and for many teenagers, that means one thing: PROM. Anyone who has attended proms and formal affairs may remember how expensive these activities were. I sure do. The costs involved have become so high some families cannot afford for their daughter or son to attend. If you or someone you know has a closet full of prom dresses and/or bridesmaid dresses, do we have a feel-good project for you! First step? Admitting you will never wear that shiny purple dress again. Ha! Ha! It’s not like we’re going to another homecoming or prom anytime soon.
