OK here goes…
So, I'm not big on talking about myself and writing is not really my forte, but here goes my best attempt!
Just a little about me...I'm 35, married to a wonderful man named Allen, am the mother of one daughter with another daughter on the way (very exciting!!), and entrepreneur. I have dreamed of owning my own business for years and after much prayer, I took the leap and began working on my own resale website in January of 2009. The website was a hit and I was selling items before I could add more to my inventory. I was unable to keep up with the demand, thus, Consignment Crossroads was born about 6 months later.
What is Consignment Crossroads? It’s a ‘crossroads’ or marketplace where numerous members meet online to BUY & SELL new items and gently loved items. Over the past year I have learned so much, but more than anything, I have learned that I am absolutely determined to make this work. I believe in the concept, all listings are free, unless you want to jazz them up as featured or bolded listing. And I believe that everyone in this community can benefit from each other’s new creations to gently loved items in effort to recycle and GO GREEN.
I appreciate your interest in what I am doing and invite your stories and comments. I'm new to this whole blogging thing, but hope to touch the lives of others in a positive way.
